help from volunteers?Volunteer Centres have experience of working together with not-for-profit volunteer using organisations, from those using a few volunteers to those using hundreds. If your organisation is seeking help from volunteers then your local Volunteer Centre will be able to support your work by:
- Providing advice and information on issues relating to volunteering.
- Offering guidance, training and support about recruiting and supporting volunteers
- Developing and adopting a volunteer policy to promote good practice in volunteering
- Training for volunteers and developing new volunteering schemes
